Daily Trail Rides

These full day rides are geared to small or individual groups. A full day does not mean 6-8 hours on a horse, but can include horsemanship before the ride, a lunch cookout over an open fire or a bit of stream or lake fishing. Photography is always part of these trips, so we are off our horses at the vistas. This ride is about spending 6 – 8 hours in the beautiful Absaroka / Wind River Mountains of NW Wyoming.

Daily rides begin in the town of Dubois, Wyoming where we meet at the Rocky Mountain Lodge at 7:30 AM. Horses will be loaded in trailers with guests following to a trailhead. We will not be traveling on primitive roads so any vehicle will be ok. The ride will be over by 3:00 – 4:00. We love what we do, so if guests want to extend the day an hour or two longer that’s fine with us. We only choose safe trails and our horses are old veterans who follow in a single file line. We recommend these rides for ages 12 and older with some experience. Our weight limit is 240 pounds. We provide a sack lunch or if arrangements are made in advance, a lunch cookout is a great option.

Our full day ride requires reservations be made at least 24 hours in advance with a minimum of 2 people. Cost: $250 per person.
